System Core¶

The central part of the framework is formed by the system core which is responsible for the efficient interconnection of the interaction module, the navigation module, and the network communication module with its internal communication and data storage mechanisms.

It contains the data storage of the VE in the form of two databases. The user database keeps information about the local user and the currently connected users. The second database, the world database stores the state of the remaining objects of the VE and partitions the virtual world into disjoint, rectangular environments, which can contain sub-elements like tiles and entities for further structuring.
